  • Essentially everything in the So Bad, It's Good fanfic StarKitsProphcy has reached meme status within the fandom. Particularly notable are the following:
    • "And he held out... SOME JEW!"
    • "LJESS IS OYUR SAVER"
    • "11. No BENG GAY!f"
    • The Fan Nickname "Tiggerstar" for Tigerstar originates from one of the numerous typos in this fic.
  • I must take... the challenge! explanation This is a line from the SSS Warrior Cats fanimation that fans found amusing.
  • All hail Purdystar!! Explanation Purdy has become a popular character in the fandom. The "star" name suffix is for given only to leaders of a clan of cats. .
  • Mapleshade eats cats! explanation A user on the Warriors Official Forum claimed to have Night Whispers early and said that Mapleshade ate a cat.
  • Firestar doesn't like waffles! explanation A video a fan made, where Graystripe sings the "waffle time" song from Scrubs and then the ThunderClan cats get upset when Firestar doesn't know what a waffle is.
  • Scourge: "I'm not tiny, I'm fun-sized!!!"
  • Sol is trollin'. explanation Sol's Affably Evil attitude, as well as the expression he made on the original version of the Beyond the Code cover (can be seen in the linked macro), has led fans to describing him as a Troll.
  • Warriors: Power of Tree Explanation A joke based on the common fan misconception that Firestar was killed when a tree fell on him in The Last Hope. He was actually killed due to his wounds/smoke inhalation from the flaming tree.
  • Grumpy Jayfeather Explanation Some fans compare Jayfeather's serious expression to Grumpy Cat due to their grumpy faces.
  • "Why is Lionheart always a beard?" Explanation On the Tumblr blog "The Worst Warriors", it is frequently mentioned that Lionheart often seems to be drawn in the shape of a beard. This has prompted numerous references elsewhere and even an "Ask Lionbeard".
  • Horrifying Graystripe, in some parts of the fandom. It even has its own fanart and tumblr. explanation A piece of bad fanart that somehow became quite popular.
  • Tigerstar's sunglasses. Explanation An oddly drawn panel of Tigerstar and Sasha that made it appear that Tigerstar was wearing sunglasses has gained a fan following.
  • Tigerstar clones. Explanation A concept mocking the ridiculous amount of "broad-shouldered dark tabby toms" descended from Tigerstar. (Bramblestar, Hawkfrost, Tigerheart, Strikestone, and the female Lightleap.)
  • Everything about the poorly received Super Edition Tigerheart's Shadow:
    • Tigerheartstar! Explanation Tigerstar 2.0 is the ultimate Tigerstar clone, sharing both his name and his appearance.
    • Dovewing goes to church. Explanation Dovewing literally travels to a city church to birth her kits.
    • Tigerheart likes trains. Explanation Tigerheart nearly ends up boarding a "Thundersnake" to travel to the city.
  • Briarlight.exe is not running Explanation In Fading Echoes, Briarlight gets trapped under a tree and the resulting injury leaves her with crippled hind legs.
  • Thornclaw the Patrol Guy / Thornclaw's Got Bills Explanation Thornclaw's siblings (Brackenfur, Cinderpelt, and Brightheart) all get a lot of focus, but the most notable thing about Thornclaw himself is that he...goes on a lot of patrols. The fandom exaggerated this trait and painted Thornclaw as the guy who gets forced to go on endless patrols all day; the latter video shows him getting forced to go on 50,000 patrols.
  • Dovewing's eye color / Dovewing has green eyes Explanation Dovewing appeared with blue, green, and yellow eyes in different books, leading to jokes about her having rainbow or color-changing eyes, with quite a few Youtube videos depicting her with a different color each time she appears. This also later led to some drama once she appeared with consistently green eyes in the sixth series, and her wiki page was locked onto blue eyes (the color Kate Cary thought they were) rather than green (what she was consistently shown with). It only became funnier when the official wiki Twitter went on a blocking spree against those who argued that Dovewing's eyes were green, then anyone who messaged them, and then anyone who liked a post about Dovewing having green eyes.
  • Certain names have become jokes within the fandom due to how awkward or uninspired they sound. Common targets include Loudbelly, Runningnose, Billystorm, and Twigbranch (though the mockery of Twigbranch's name died down when River of Fire revealed the reasoning behind her name).
  • "What cartoon/anime is this?" Explanation The Warriors fandom has a lot of skilled animators, resulting in high-quality videos that many mistake as clips from actual shows.
  • It's a joke in the fandom about how hard it can be to explain a series about serious action fantasy about talking cats who fight a lot to others.
  • ThunderClan's overpopulation problem Explanation As of A Vision of Shadows, ThunderClan had a rise in population, while several other Clans are somewhat short on members. This has caused fans to beg for the authors to kill off some of the older cats who've been alive since the first or second arc, or for them to kill off the newer side characters that aren't given a personality. Many of them are disappointed when events that could have killed off a decent chunk of the cats (like the sickness outbreak in River of Fire) have very few characters dying.
  • When will Mistystar die already? Explanation Mistystar has been alive ever since Bluestar's Prophecy, and is by far the oldest cat in all the Clans, being 16 years old. Thus, a vast majority of fans have been begging for the authors to kill Mistystar off and let Reedwhisker take her place. Both Mistystar and Reedwhisker die in River.
  • Heavystep is immortal Explanation Heavystep has (apparently) died three times in the series, in both the allegiances and the actual story. This has caused fans to joke that he's immortal or that StarClan keeps giving him extra lives because they're bored.
  • #RedtailIsOverParty Explanation On July 10, 2020, a Twitter fan account of Redtail jokingly tweeted something controversial, causing Warriors fans to "cancel" Redtail using the aforementioned hashtag, which managed to reach #1 trending in the US on Twitter.
  • Bramblestar has rabies Explanation A popular fan theory prior to the seventh arc's release was that Bramblestar was going to get rabies. When this turned out to not be the case, this immediately went from being a legitimate theory to a joke over how silly it sounded out-of-context.
  • X is the Impostor Explanation The identity of Bramblestar's impostor largely remained a mystery after the releases of Lost Stars and The Silent Thaw, with the only real clues being that the impostor was male, dead, and likely from StarClan. This led to a whole slew of discussions and theories on who he was, from the fairly reasonable to plain outlandish.
  • Mountaindew and Smokeweed Explanation Many jokes have been made about silly names that technically fit the warrior naming conventions but would never be used in the series proper. Mountaindew and Smokeweed (referencing Mountain Dew soda, and... well, smoking weed) are the most common joke names, but other technical-warrior-names include Deadpool, Morningwood, Cockweed, Garfield ("gar" being a type of fish), and Blackface.
  • Squilf Explanation A Fan Nickname for Squirrelflight, originated by Kate Cary in this Tweet but since popularized by Moonkitti and later spreading out to the rest of the fandom. It's become her nickname as a result, especially due to the humor of it sounding similar to MILF.
  • Government Assigned Warrior Names Explanation The official series website autogenerates a warrior name when you create an account. The fans have dubbed these as their "Government Assigned" names and often use them as OC characters.
  • Frecklewish Is In Hell Explanation In November 2021, fans noticed that Frecklewish, one of the supporting characters in Mapleshade's Vengeance as well as being Mapleshade's second victim, was placed in the Dark Forest. This led to something of a Broken Base; some fans argued that her not jumping in to help save Mapleshade's kits violates the Warrior Code and indirectly led to the kittens' deaths, while others pointed out that she would have also died if she tried to save them and that she is the one least responsible for the kits' deaths and therefore shouldn't be condemned when her father (who was the one to actually exile the kits) never faces justice. The backlash to the decision was so bad that the official series website had to publish an article defending the decision to place Frecklewish in the Dark Forest... which just made the argument worse.
  • Lionblaze's Chapters Explanation During any analysis of the third arc, Lionblaze tends to be singled out for having uninteresting chapters and plots compared to his siblings. Several jokes about his secret "interesting chapters" and lack of personality have been made as a result.
  • According to the Warriors Wiki... Explanation A meme that circulated around YouTube, where people would draw their interpretation of a cat's appearance based on the wiki information. Yellowfang's description is the most infamous, as the description is overly negative, which makes her art always look pretty hideous.
